  • Arrival Procedures

    Limited classroom access

To minimize the potential spread, parents and visitors are not permitted in the building at any time. Children will be checked in at the front and taken to their class by a teacher.

    Social distancing

To encourage social distancing upon arrival we have placed stickers on the floor 6 feet apart.

    Temperature checks and health screenings

When parents and children arrive in the morning for drop-offs the child’s temperature will be taken with a no-touch thermometer and will be recorded. Parents and staff will answer some health screening questions at drop-off.

Children over 2 years of age are encouraged to wear face-covering/We ask that parents wear a mask during drop-offs and pick-ups.

To keep germs from spreading, children are encouraged to keep their mask on unless eating or drinking.

  • Classroom Procedures

Children and staff must wash hands upon entering the classroom

When children and staff arrive in the mornings, they will need to wash their hands for 20 seconds. Hand washing will be implemented throughout the day to stop the spread of germs.

Disinfect frequently touched surfaces/rotation of toys

Classroom toys and other materials, as well as high-touched surfaces will be routinely disinfected throughout the day and rotated.

Teachers will continue to follow CDC guidelines and safety procedures

Temperature checks are done multiple times throughout the day

    Safe dining

Our shared mealtime will be modified and changed. We will no longer be doing family-style dining. All meals will be served by teachers.

    Napping

During nap time kids are spaced accordingly head to toe.

    Safe play

When children are in the classroom stickers are placed on the floor 6ft apart. Children are encouraged to maintain social distancing throughout the day.

    Drinking fountains

Until further notice, all drinking fountains will be closed for sanitary reasons. We ask that parents provide their child/children with a water bottle, labeled with a name.
